Remember when I said over a week ago I had tenosynovitis? Well, doctor's orders was to keep the foot still and not walk around me. But what do I do instead? I pump myself full of pain killers and dance... well, that came back to haunt me. My foot is now in a cast *rollseyes* gotta keep the damn thing on for at least a week. Doc said he's not trusting me anymore on my word, so he now completely immobilized my foot. Honestly, I can care less right now, the dance performances are over LOL

On another note, we had a big get together tonight to celebrate yet another well done project. Our mayor was there as well (that being the guy who rules over 40,000 people LOL) and he said "the Pirates of the Caribbean really rocked the house". Whooohoooo for us!

Sorry to hear about the cast but hopefully that will help you get better soon. :)

I'm not really worried about the cast. The dancing is over and I am out of classes until beginning of April :)

Does this mean you'll be sitting at the computer all day and vidding? :D *whistles* That's what Aruna did when she had her foot immobilized for 5 weeks.

I'd sit at the comp anyway, with my foot in a cast or without LOLOL It just gives me a damn excuse to tell mom when she's yelling at me again why I spend the whole damn day in front of the comp LOL

So your foot's in an actual cast and not a boot thing? =( Glad you're glad the performances went well and are over with. So what music did you dance to?

It's in a plastic cast which is not as thick and heavy as a usual cast, but still pretty sturdy. All the kiddies signed it tonight. Even little Isabella who's only four. They help up a piece of paper and let her draw what they had written for her on the paper LMAO.

Our dance music was a combination of different songs plus some quotes from the movie thrown in. Ever since my sister figured out that I can remove background noise from the DVDs, she was set on using actual dialogue from the movie. It was basically just short conversations between Elizabeth Swan and Captain Jack that started off the whole performance. We then used two songs called Shadows of the Night and We're the Pirates of Dance. They both have a real good beat going. If you want to listen to it, I still have the part of the music uploaded cause some of the girls wanted it for practice.

*hehe* Defeated the doctor! So he doesn't know that he can trust you now that you've already accomplished your mission? *grin* Well, now you get that foot lots and lots of rest!

Oh, the Doc knows me very well which is why he didn't give me a cast in the first place. He was even the one to prescribe the pain killers LOLOL But I had told him I was going to take it easy on the dancing. I guess performances 6 days in a row does not qualify as easy LOLOLOL

*hehe* He didn't know you would do performances 6 days in a row? *grin* Well...at least he was nice enough not to immobilize you until afterwards.

He knew about 2, but not about the other 4 LOLOL I also did two parades on Monday and Tuesday which really didn't help either I think LOL and we did some hopping for life on Tuesday night, in good old DW fashion..... so when I go up this morning, I really couldn't walk anymore. But then I had also not taken any pain killers since yesterday morning cause I ran out of it. Maybe that was a good thing, otherwise I would have continued taking the damn stuff and not have noticed how much my foot is actually hurting.

Oh, so he only knew about 25% of your activities, that seems like a reasonable amount. *hehe* Well, now you can get better...and that's good.

I miss my dancing already, and it's just been over for a couple of days *cry* and the new project won't start until end of March/beginning of April, depending on how fast my sis can find music and come up with new theme ideas. She quite didn't like my Ghostbusters idea for the next preojct LMAO Got any ideas?

From: [identity profile] teskafuture.livejournal.com

Doesn't like Ghostbusters theme? *gasp* That sounds very original!

I'm guessing you wouldn't be able to convince her of a Doctor Who theme either. *hehe*

Suggestions? Hmm, that's difficult. Depends on what kind of direction you wanna go. There's Street Cred theme, but that's be hip hop and rap mostly, or...ever get into the Swing? (I'm reminded of the musical Swing Kids, I love that movie), or...I dunno, that's all I've got right now. *laugh*

You don't wanna know how often I have thought about pitching Doctor Who to her! She actually said a couple times already that she things the theme music is kinda cool. The problem is, nobody knows Doctor Who here *sigh*

We did Grease last year which was quite fun. A few years ago (the year that Golden Eye came out), we did James Bond which was really cool. The same year, the kiddies (age 5 to 9) did Blues Brothers. I almost wet my pants when I saw them doing that! All dressed in black suits, white shirts, black ties, black hats and black sunglasses. It was hysterical!

Actually, the kiddies are always cute. They did Smurfs a few years back. I keep teasing Alina, the blond girl who did Miss Swan to my Captain Jack this year, about it because she was the youngest (I think she had just turned 5) and damn cutest Smurf that year LOL They also were little green ghosts one year and they did Dance of the Vampires a couple years back which was just damn incredible.
