Remember when I said over a week ago I had tenosynovitis? Well, doctor's orders was to keep the foot still and not walk around me. But what do I do instead? I pump myself full of pain killers and dance... well, that came back to haunt me. My foot is now in a cast *rollseyes* gotta keep the damn thing on for at least a week. Doc said he's not trusting me anymore on my word, so he now completely immobilized my foot. Honestly, I can care less right now, the dance performances are over LOL
On another note, we had a big get together tonight to celebrate yet another well done project. Our mayor was there as well (that being the guy who rules over 40,000 people LOL) and he said "the Pirates of the Caribbean really rocked the house". Whooohoooo for us!

Our dance music was a combination of different songs plus some quotes from the movie thrown in. Ever since my sister figured out that I can remove background noise from the DVDs, she was set on using actual dialogue from the movie. It was basically just short conversations between Elizabeth Swan and Captain Jack that started off the whole performance. We then used two songs called Shadows of the Night and We're the Pirates of Dance. They both have a real good beat going. If you want to listen to it, I still have the part of the music uploaded cause some of the girls wanted it for practice.

I'm guessing you wouldn't be able to convince her of a Doctor Who theme either. *hehe*
Suggestions? Hmm, that's difficult. Depends on what kind of direction you wanna go. There's Street Cred theme, but that's be hip hop and rap mostly, or...ever get into the Swing? (I'm reminded of the musical Swing Kids, I love that movie), or...I dunno, that's all I've got right now. *laugh*

We did Grease last year which was quite fun. A few years ago (the year that Golden Eye came out), we did James Bond which was really cool. The same year, the kiddies (age 5 to 9) did Blues Brothers. I almost wet my pants when I saw them doing that! All dressed in black suits, white shirts, black ties, black hats and black sunglasses. It was hysterical!
