So, I am pretty close to finishing my Buffy vid. However, I am in need of some help here. The end of the song is instrumental, so I want to spice it up with some audio from the show. I am seriously lacking audio ideas though. I know quite some people on my flist watch Buffy, so I was wondering if anyone could help me out here? You people are probably all much more versed in the Buffy fandom than I am.... given the fact I only just recently started to really get into the show. I don't wanna give too much of the vid away, so if you want to help me out, leave me a comment and I will reply what I am looking for in a screened comment (so make sure you have notifications on).
So I tried my luck at After Effects last night. It's been ages since I last used it for a vid. I think the reason why I haven't used it after switching to Vegas is that it doesn't integrate. You have to export, do your stuff in After Effects, import back into Vegas.... however, I don't find it as tedious anymore as I used to. What I did last night turned out to look quite good actually, so I had to try my hand on something else today which also looks quite good if I may say so. I think I am gonna make this vid my "experiment with After Effects" vid. LOL

I mean, seriously, I need some head warning here. Otherwise I will watch episodes like I Will Remember You at 3am in the morning and have an all "WAM, I just drove into a wall" kinda feeling. Seriously. And what does one do to get down from the hype? Watch some more Angel without Buffy just to see Doyle getting killed. Thank you very much. 4:30am in the morning and I am watching Spongebob just to get my sanity back of sorts and go to sleep. I mean, GOOD LORD!
I am doing this class about British National Identity during World War II and today was movie day. We watch an episode of Foyle's War. And dear God, of all the episodes they chose the one with David Tennant and Sophia Myles. I had a giggle attack pretty much throughout the whole episode and a smirk on my face. Thee hee hee, David Tennant for class!

I never really got myself to finish it for one reason or another, but I finally sat down tonight and did the odd 20 seconds that were left to edit. So, a little while ago I ordered Time Squad figures from Forbidden Planet. I ordered the 5 pack set that includes Davros and the Doctor for me and for rhoboat. One package came in right away. I was a bit baffled cause I had ordered it twice. I sent FP an email, and they said they would fill the remaining order as soon as possible. Fine. I waited, and waited, and waited for the second package to come. I finally got an email about a week ago that my order was filled. The package arrived today. Just - it wasn't Pack 3 with the Doctor and Davros, it was Pack 1 they sent me, with a Sontaran, a Scarecrow and NO Doctor inside. ARGH! I looked at my invoice again, and it clearly said Pack 3 on it. So someone packed the wrong figures inside *headdesk* I sent FP an email about this. Hopefully they don't want me to send this back so they can sent me the right package cause that's gonna cost more than the figures are actually worth. I am just totally *headdesk* about this.
When I rebooted earlier, I got reddish shadows on the font all of a sudden. It's not sharp and crips anymore, but really blurrish with the reddish shadow all around. I reinstalled the drivers but that didn't fix the problem. Anyone got any ideas?
Well, it's not really new as it's my dad's old cell. He got a new Nokia something something so I got his Motorola Razr V3i. I know it's an old phone, but it's way way WAY better than my current cell (and it's triband, w00t w00t!).
Anyways, the back of the phone is pretty badly scratched (dunno what dad did with it), so I was wondering if anyone out there knew of a place where I could buy some silicone cover skin for it for cheap? Other than eBay that is cause I rather not end up buying from someone who then ends up being in Asia which seems to be a common thing for cell phone accessories though they say they are located elsewhere. All I can get over here is some crappy leather pouch (and you always have to remove the phone from the pouch to make a call) or clear plastic clip-ons which won't really cover the scratches on the phone.

Watch last night's episode of CSI. It is totally hilarious in a SciFi geeky way!! It was written by two writers from the new BSG and man, they took it to the extreme. This episode is going to be a total classic. Even if you don't like CSI, go watch this ep!!! If you like SciFi, you will ike this for the geeky aspect!

I swear to God, I hate Daylight Savings Time! I pretty much changed every clock yesterday..... except for one - my cell phone. I thought it would adjust on its own. Apparently it didn't. Thing is, I use it as my alarm. So I set it last night, John Crichton woke me this morning, I got up, turned on the comp..... and for some reason I looked at my watch - and noticed I had overslept for a whole freaking hour! And only had 15 minutes to get to work which is 15 miles away, ARGH! I tell you.... I was *this* close to getting a heart attack! Got in the car, drove over and then the frelling parking lot close to work was closed cause they cut down the trees, like WTF! I had to take the one 4 blocks down the road...... I was panting like mad when I finally got into work. And I as ony 5 minutes late, but I swear to God... I HATE DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME!
