I'm sitting here, doing a painting for [profile] dnamadscientist in return for a DW book, but dammit... I got all the outlines done and everything, but don't you think I need 5 different blues for the Tardis and I only have one? I just spent almost 30 Euros on pens the other day to finished Torchwood. I don't mind spending the money on the pens, it's just.... it's 1AM and I want to work on this and I only have 2 of the 5 blues I need!

Also..... I appparently can't draw letters in freehand, sheesh.

You've started it? YAY! I'm bouncing around with excitement! If you need more pens I'd be happy to chip in for them, since I picked a picture with so many blues. It is my favourite colour, so I guess it was subconscious! LOL!

I cannot wait to see the finished pic!

Yeah, I finished, and I am *almost* done. Almost being the operative word.... I bought pens today and painted the Tardis, but I haven't started on Mr. Adorkable yet. The reason I didn't say anything is cause he looks kinda dorky only in outlines and I didn't want you to go EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK! LOL

ALMOST DONE????????????? You amaze me...

I can't believe that I would think he looks dorky - not with your talent. But it will be nice to see the finished result as a surprise, rather than bit by bit.

My boss has been off, so I've been in charge of the Centre (yikes!) so I was too exhausted to do anything last night. I'm going to rip the last few clips that I need now, and I may finish the vid tonight. I don't want to rush it, though, so if I'm not happy with it I'll wait until I get it how I want it.

Thank you SO much for doing this for me. I'll post your book tomorrow,. As I've been so busy at work I haven't had a lunchbreak yet this week, so no time to go to the Post Office, but she's back tomorrow.

Yeah, well, I can draw at work so that helps a lot :) I'll send you the finished product then, might even be some time tonight ;)

Oh, and if you haven't mailed it off yet, maybe I can send you my home addy and you can mail it there cause I only have next week left with classes and then I am off till April.....

Okay- send me your home addy, then please. Why have you got so much time off? You only just went back! No wonder you have time to get so good at all your hobbies!

I don't have a lot of time off actually. But since drawing doesn't require a comp, I can do that when I am at school or work ;) My library job helps tremendously cause I only sit and wait until someone has a question which happens like once per hour. The rest of the time I can do whatever I want. Pack the paper, pack the pens, and off I am! LOL

I'll email you my home addy as well :)

I meant why do you have such long breaks from Uni? Is it to do research/write a thesis?

And your library job sounds great after the day I've had. It's difficult to even get time to go to the loo!

Ooooh, it's in between semesters. Winter semester is October to February, summer semester April to July.

Okay - it's different here. It just seems strange that you've only just had Christmas break and you're off again so soon. Here there is a week off for half term in February, but that's all.
