Does anyone know these Mastercard commercials that always end with "..... - priceless"? Ther's this one about this girl's 1st birthday that always ends with "playing with the gift box - priceless".
So.... we postponed Christmas until today since I was working and my sis was called in for work too to fill in for someone sick... Today was my nephew's 1st Christmas. We bought him Little People. He grabbed the box, and I thought, oh joy, he likes it! So we sat down on the ground, I put him in lap and we started unpacking the box. Go figure, kid goes for the colorful Fisher Price box, not the contents LMAO! He had a blast with the box! My brother said we should have just gotten him the box! LOL! They actually took the box home cause nepheq liked it so much! LMAO!
Later, he actually was fascinated by the horse carriage because the wheel fit nicely into his mouth! LOL!
My brother and his wife were really happy with the gift though. They said it would fit nicely with his new nursery outfit. So far, he's still sleeping with bro and wife until they can move into their new house. They already bought the nursery furniture and stuff though last week. The little tyke is gonna get a castle setup in his room! Stone walls painted on the walls, chandeliers, dragons on the carpet, and a bed in real king style. They showed us pics today. It looks soooooo cute! And the Little People just go with the nursery setup! Once bro found out you can actually buy a huge castle to go with what we bought, he said he knew what the little guy was gonna get for his 1st birthday! LOL!
Oh, and he's walking now! He still needs to hold on to one hand, but he's walking! And frelling fast too! He can manage a few steps without holding on to anyone or anything, but once he realizes he is walking alone, he plops down on the ground.
And Winnie the Pooh frelling scared the boy to tears today! My sis has that walking baby Pooh.... the whole purpose of that thing is that toddlers are supposed to run after it and start walking. Anyway, we set it on the ground. Nephew really liked it, sqealed with delight, reached for it, bit it in the nose. So we thought, cute, he likes Pooh, turn it on. We did. Pooh is standing on the ground, nephew is sitting on the ground close to it. Pooh starts talking, nephew squeals with delight. Pooh starts rattling and running with a jolt all of a sudden - nephew screams out lout and starts to cry. Since he had just woken up from a nap a little earlier, we thought, okay, he wasn't quite awake yet. He found Pooh a couple hours later again when he crawled down the hallway. Bit in his nose, dragged him by his arm..... we thought he was fine with it. So my little brother sets Pooh on the table, I have giggling and laughing newphew on my lap.... and the moment Pooh starts running across the table, nephew starts to cry again.... *sigh* that toy is not baby proof! I think the sudden movements out of nowhere scared the hell outta the kid cause he was fine when he wasn't doing anything. But then my sister-in-law assured me that nephew is curious as hell but such a wuss! LOL!
