I filled in for a co-worker at the school today because she got sick. One of my groups was a couple of 3rd graders who just needed homework supervision.
Kid A: "Hey kid B, did you hear the fire alarm as well in school today?"
Kid B ignores kid A because he is doing his homework
Kid A probes further: "Heeeeeey kid B, did you also have to go outside because of the fire alarm?"
Kid B keeps on ignoring him
Kid A is at it again: "Hey kid B, did you also have to form a group in the lawn on the other side of the street?"
Kid B finally stops working on his home work and starts to answer, but kid A cuts him off: "No no no, don't answer me now, you are just doing your homework. Answer me when you are done with that. Just don't forget your answer!"
*facepalm* I was this close to just laugh out loud when he said that. He's been pestering the poor kid for 5 minutes to answer and when he finally does, he tells him to answer later... GOD!
I also received an answer to my inquire about taking part in one of the law classes in the upcoming semester. I called a few weeks ago, was told I needed to make the inquiry by email. So I did. Three times. Never received an answer. So I called again yesterday and asked, and again was told I needed to make the inquiry by email. Told them I've been trying but never received a response. Was told I can only make it by email. Fine. Sent the email again. This morning I received an answer along the lines of "if you need counseling, go yada yada yada." *facepalm* Lady, I don't need counseling, I want into the damn seminar ABOUT counseling! The secretary couldn't even read my email right WTF! Sent her a reply that I want into the damn seminar about counseling as I have stated in my original email. It's a requirement for my law degree. Wonder what reply I'll get now!
