Song: What’s Left Of Me
Artist: Nick Lachey
Spoilers: up to episode 1×14
This vid is from Mick’s POV and goes in the same AU as my previous vid Broken. It could very well be seen as a companion piece to that one since Broken was from Beth’s POV.
I first had the idea for this vid before Moonlight went on a forced hiatus during the writer’s strike but I never got around to actually make this vid. When episode 1×14 aired, I just had to sit down and start this vid. As I cut down the music to a little about 2 minutes, I was able to get this done in less than a week.
This vid was also sent to Moonlight Con 2008 where it won Best Romance and Best Vid Overall during a fan-voted contest.

You know I haven't even seen any of this show, but I really totally enjoyed this. And gosh, I have MISSED your videos, girl!!!
This really is beautiful, you did a wonderful job of telling an emotional story. I don't even know what's going on but I was riveted! And all the emotion is so clear in the way you edited things. And yeah, your editing = totally beautiful, even some new techniques for you in there. :D
Luffly luffly job, jag! And yay for more vids from you!!! \o/

Would it be okay if I friended you? We've got some interests in common, and I've been enjoying your Farscape-related works for a long time. ;)

Moonlight is the first show since Farscape that really touched my heart, amd I'll miss the uplifting nature of the show. It just made me happy. Seeing Mick and Beth added a bit of joy to my life that I don't wanna miss. (Not that my real life is all sad and depressing - quite the contrary actually -, but Moonlight has been a wonderful addition, and I don't want it to end just yet.) Farscape was (and is still) great, but it was a lot darker in comparision.
Friended you! Of course you can friend me back. :)

Neither have I. I was on my way to Denver for work when the news hit and saw the ep there.... it was pretty surreal if you ask me. I keep my fandoms alive with vids. It really helps a lot!
Doctor Who was the first show that really got to me after Farscape. It had the snarky and uplifting side of Farscape, sometimes also the dark side. I haven't found anything as dark as Farscape yet. But Moonlight really was the first show with a shipper aspect life Farscape. Human falls in love with non-human. Non-human also falls in love with human. Just calls for complications. And then you have the best buddy aspect as well (Mick and Josef VS John and D'Argo). Man, if I don't stop analyzing now, this will turn into a 10 page paper LMAO

I'd just gotten home from GateCamp 2008 (http://gatecamp.net) when I heard the news. It was surreal.

I still haven't gotten around to vidding yet. It's so time-consuming, especially when you don't quite know what you're doing. :)
I like Doctor Who a lot, but I'm not an active member of the fandom. I'm more active in offline fannish events. Too little time to do it all.
Moonlight is the first show since Farscape that really pleased me from a shippy point of view. Most shows that try to present a clever relationship either bore or annoy me. Have the people who write these stories ever been in a relationship? Or a long-term relationship? Watching two people in a relationship can be just as interesting, even more interesting and emotional, than getting them together and breaking them up over and over again. To me, that's not drama, that's laziness on the writers' part.
(Mick and Josef VS John and D'Argo)
Yeah. I'm so glad Farscape wasn't cancelled at the end of season 1. The journey had only just begun...
