Who is that James character in the book? Sounds like he's a new Torchwood member but I have no idea where he came from! I am also missing Ianto.... or have I overheard it? (listening to Eve Myles reading the book....)
James is an original character. When the book starts, he's already an established member of the team and you find out about where he came from near the end. (It's been a while since I read the book, but IIRC, Ianto's not in this book, and I don't think his whereabouts are ever mentioned.)
I am only 2CDs into the book right now.... which is irritating the heck outta me btw cause I still have no idea what exactly is going on! But thanks for letting me know that I haven't missed anything yet and will get my answer later.
