I spent too much money today.... I think

I went home for the weekend today and my mom told me she saw this futon sofa/bed combination on sale that she thought I'd like. I told her that when I move out of the dorm, instead of getting a bed, I want a futon I can turn into a sofa in case I get company. They are usually quite expensive if you want something quality. Since I have back problems sometimes, I am quite picky with the mattress. Not too soft, but also not too hard. You can get futons around 200 bucks at places like IKEA, but the mattress quality is really pathetic. And so is the frame. So, I haven't had good luck so far. Since I was pretty bored today though, my mom and I drove to the furniture store that had the futon on sale. It looked quite nice in the ad, and was discounted by 300 bucks (usually it was 499 bucks, now on sale it was only 199). We got there, I saw the futon, sat down and thought I was in heaven! So mom and I tracked down a sales clerk and he told us that they didn't have any of them anymore :( But he offered to check in the computer if he could backorder it for us for the sale price. And he could :) He said it would take about 4 weeks for the futon to get here which I am kinda glad about cause I'd have to store the futon in my parent's guestroom anyway until I moved, so no big deal. I paid half of it upfront, they're gonna call us when it's there for pickup, my mom will hop over to the store and get it and pay the other half with the debit card to my account that she has. So I am all good. I got an awesome looking and awesome feeling futon bed for the exact amount that I set myself I would spend on a futon :) And it's not the crappy 200 bucks ones, it's actually a 500 bucks futon which means pretty awesome quality! My mom actually checked right away if you could put the overthrow that it comes with into the washer LOLOL And you can, which made her happy as well :)

Oh, and it even comes with extra fluffy pillows. Now I just need to find one of those under the bed plastic boxes that I can fit under it to store my bedding in in case I need to turn the futon into a sofa.....
