Dude..... I watched this in one sitting with Human Nature tonight. Well, actually I watched Human Nature while
humansrsuperior was in the shower and then we watched Family of Blood together.
What an awesome episode! That's all I can say cause I am still sort speechless. DT deserves a bloody award for this! What's the British TV equivalent to the Academy Awards please? I'd even give him an Oscar. He was bloody brilliant!!!!
I am not going to spoil for those who haven't seen it yet. It was very very very dark though. But if you enjoyed Human Nature, will absolutely enjoy this one as well!
Now I think I have to get the book this is based on.....

O.M.G. Like best new episode. Period. GITF was my top favorite (I mean there's always the obligatory Doomsday, etc) but now - this. *sigh*
Whoa. Amazing. Loved it. Loved loved loved it.
He's so gotta go rip the universe apart and get his Rose.
*sigh*
*sob*
Okay. I'll quit snorfling all over your LJ now.

I told HRS earlier that I think these two have become my all time favorite DW episodes ever. No offense to Rose, but dude.... these were so incredibly well written and acted!
And heh, I told HRS the same thing, he needs Rose back. With her around he probably wouldn't have done what he did in the end. Well, with the family (so I won't spoil). That actually shocked me cause we've never really seen him that dark until season 3.
Anyways..... guess what I got today. Hidden Palms :D I have to watch tomorrow.

But, I thought I'd let you know before you go buying the book, it's back online at the BBC (http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/classic/ebooks/human_nature/index.shtml). *grin* They had taken it down due to the ep, but it's back now.
