My sis quit her job mid of March because she got a new boss earlier this year who did nothing but harass and abuse her work-wise, as in he didn't do stuff that he was supposed to do so my sister ended up doing it during unpaid overtime and then she had to listen to the boss yell at her why she did his stuff which btw was most of the already weeks overdue and meant her company wouldn't be paid for the service they provided because it wasn't turned in on time.
Anyways, my sister had a job interview at a place where she really really really wanted to work. It's always been her dream to work there. She sent off an application and they invited her in for an interview first week of April. They had one open position to fill, but several hundred people applying out of which they invited fifty for an interview. They told my sister they would let her know by the end of last week if she got the job or not. Well, they didn't call, so my sis expected she didn't get the job.
I was just on the phone with her about something else when another call came in and she put me on hold for a few minutes. When she came back, she was so erratic I couldn't understand one word of what she was saying and I had to tell her to calm down.
She got the job!!!!!
She'll start working there on June 1st! I am so happy for her! The place where she'll work is a highly credited psych ward in Germany that also deals with alzheimer psychosis which is what my sister wants to specialize in. They have people come in from all over Europe to listen to the Doctor's working and researching in that institute. She won't be working in the psych ward per se, but in the ward that specializes in Alzheimer patients of all ages. This is the place where you can send someone who needs special treatment because they are delusional most of the time, but not yet in need of special care because they are bed ridden.
