Okay, I am confused.... maybe it was not a good idea to watch the whole series in just under about a week. Speculations under the cut cause they may be spoilery still

So - did Sam now originate in 1973 and just hallucinated about the future or was he from the future and in a coma and 1973 was just a dream? It kinda looked like he was from the future and in a coma because of the tunnel shooting and when he got back there after he jumped from the building, but does one survive a jump from a building that high? That's the only thing really that makes me think the whole 2007 plot was a hallucination.

I think he was in a coma because he had a big tumor in his head (maybe he discovered it after the accident!), but just like the barman said...you're alive if you feel.....so when he came back from the coma (in the future....the real life)and he didn't feel anything (remember the cut on his hand?) he decided to go back in 1973 because there he felt more alive than in the future, and to do this he had to come back in a coma jumping from the roof!
P.s. L.O.V.E. your farscape videos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

The tumor kinda threw me for a loop cause he had a car accident. I think they should have just stuck with brain injury and not mention any kind of tumor.

What the tragic part about that episode is, I know some people who were like Sam. They came out of a coma and suddenly they couldn't handle the world around them anymore. It was really really hard to see Sam coming to the conclusion he didn't belong here in this time anymore and jump, but I was not surprised. Very sad ending in a way, but very true to life.
