thecrazykind sent me The X- Files - The Truth which is the last two episodes of the series. Man, I totally fell in love with the series again! Went to play.com and saw that a season was only 14 Euros so I decide I could buy me some X-Files before the new movie.
Yeah, well - apparently I am doing this all wrong LOL
I told myself I would buy 2 seasons. Since I had the ending already (and as extra bonus, there was "William" on the DVD as well), so I figured I didn't need to get season 9. Season 7 was a must because of Hollywood AD - my all time favorite favorite favorite episode! Did I say it's my all-time favorite episode? :D ("Scully, Skinman is calling me from a bubble bath!" LMAO!) Figured if I got that season, I should also get season 8 so I can relive all that Mulder abduction / Scully pregnant storyline. Fine, ordered 7 and 8. For some reason play shipped them on the same day but didn't ship them together. Season 8 got in on a Saturday with 7 getting in the following Monday. Needless to say I did some serious XF watching over the weekend before 7 got in. So I went from the end of season 9 to the whole of season 8 and then the whole of season 7. Really really enjoyed it though!
Anyways, the end of season 8 kinda left me with a "I wanna know what happened between the last eps of season 8 and 9" kinda feeling so once I got paid the next month, I decided to order two more seasons. Season 9 was a given. Since I was already going backwards, I figured I could also get season 6 (Dreamland!! Arcadia! SQUEEEE!). And who'd have thought, ordered together, shipped separately the same day - got in 2 days apart from each other. Meh! Season 6 got in first, so no me watching the continuation of 8. So I started with 6 (again - DREAMLAND SQUEEEEEEEEEEEE!). Once 9 got in, I couldn't really stop with 6 though.... Watched Biogenesis this morning and am now officially on the last season of XF.
However - I still think I am doing this absolutely totally wrong. 9 to 7 to 8 to 6 to 9 again? I know I wanna get more XF when my next paycheck comes in, and while logic probably says I have to get 1 and 2 to finally start from the beginning, I HAVE to get 4 and 5 next (EFFFFF - BEEEEE - EEEEEYE to quoterhoboat, hehehehe!).
On a side note, it's really funny to see all these "famous" guest stars pop up on the show that I don't even remember were on the show! LOL But I do remember the episodes.... for some reason the only guest star that kinda stuck was Lucy Lawless in season 9. Why I did not remember Cary Elwes was in the same two episodes is yet to be determined LOL

While buying 4 and 5 before 1 and 2 may not be in order at least you'll get to some great episodes first!! And you can always relieve the beginning later on.
Hehehe. And the order that you're watching the show sounds really cool! Though I don't I usually end up ignoring season 9 completely and only acknowledging the existence of Season 8. ^_^"
