Could it be my desktop monitor is about to die???

When I rebooted earlier, I got reddish shadows on the font all of a sudden. It's not sharp and crips anymore, but really blurrish with the reddish shadow all around. I reinstalled the drivers but that didn't fix the problem. Anyone got any ideas?
