I am currently at the airport (free Wifi *squeeeee*) waiting for my flight to Burbank which is supposed to board in about half an hour.
Too much Daiquieres (or however you spell them) and Margharitas last night (hey, free coupons LOL) so forgive me if I don't sound very coherent.
My sister and I saw Mamma Mia on Monday at the Mandalay Bay. We had a $40 off coupon which we found in the airline magazine on the flight over LOL So we ended up paying 80 bucks something for 2 tickets in the front row (and the middle) of the second section which was quite awesome. And I can only recommend that musical to everyone. It's ABBA people, whooohoooo!!
Since my sister is gonna be on her own for the weekend, she decided to get tickets for another show. Her plans to see O at the Bellagio went down the drain when she saw who else is currently playing in Vegas. She's got tickets for freaking Elton John tonight! I envy her. They were 100 bucks in the cheapest section, but with him it's really more about the music than seeing anything (besides, she's got a second row seat on the upper mezanine, so view is not obstructed, it's just a bit farther off). Mind you, for 100 bucks, you wouldn't even be able to see the B-stars in Germany. Madonna charged 180 for the cheapest tickets *standing* (no seats, no no) on her last tour. Don't even remember if Elton John ever was in Germany in the last 10 years. Anyways, so she's got tickets to see Elton John while I am in Burbank. Hope she has fun.
I got a sunburn. Yeah, so what's new about that. I always get a sunburn when I spend only 5 minutes in the sun. My allergies kicked in again (ick). Oh, and we got a room upgrade at the casino we're staying it. Because we're staying rather long, we got a junior suite upgrade for free. Which is VERY convenient cause it came with a minibar aka fridge LOLOL
I also had my burger. Yummy yummy There's no better place to get burgers than the US. Thanks for the tip about the burger place,
raspberry_splat. They were MOST delicious!
So that's about it from me. I should be checking in some time next week again!
