I posted about my online store experience a couple days ago..... After no replies to my emails, I decided to call them this morning. Got someone on the line, told them about my problem and they promised to get back in touch with me today. Well - they didn't *grrrr* neither by email or by phone. This is making me really angry because the only reason I bought all this equipment before my US trip is so I can watch Belle du Jour with Billie Piper next week. Right now, it looks like that's not gonna happen. I've got all the frelling equipment EXCEPT the one little connection thing from mast to balcony hookup. I've got the dish, I've got the cables, I got the receiver.... just one frelling little thing is missing. Since I am majorly pissed off now, I sent the company another email after I got back from work. I said I want the missing pieces delivered by Tuesday morning the latest. I don't care if they have to use special delivery. I don't care if they have hand deliver it to me, I want this stuff by Tuesday morning! I also mentioned in the email that if they fail to deliver the missing parts by that point, I'll buy them in a tech store around the corner and send them the bill. They sell the same balcony hookup, but for triple the price which is why I ordered it online because I really don't have the extra 40 bucks to buy it in the store around the corner. If the online store refuses to pay the bill, I'll call my credit card company and have the whole charge denied and claimed as fraud. Luckily I paid by credit card and not bank transaction. The thing is also, I had this stuff delivered to my dorm and I will be out of here for good by Wednesday morning. The company doesn't deliver using the post office but UPS, so I can't even put in a claim with the post office to deliver stuff that's going to the old address to the new address. I could leave a message on my old mailbox to deliver stuff to my neighbors, I know they wouldn't mind, but I really want to watch Belle du Jour on Thusday next week! There was a damn good reason I ordered stuff this early and before Burbank .
And to top this off, my boss hasn't paid me for August yet either so I won't even be able to buy the balcony hookup in the store if they don't accept credit cards because my bank account reads 5 bucks less than the amount of the mounting system.
